Under the framework of the strategic cooperation agreement, Doshisha University and the University of Tübingen will host the 5th International Interdisciplinary Symposium.

The 5th International Symposium, themed “Humans and AI,” will explore the future where humans and AI evolve together, fostering the development of society as a whole. Expertsfrom various fields will engage in discussions from diverse perspectives.

At this remarkable time of rapid advancement in AI technology, we are now at a point where we must carefully consider the “coexistence” and “conscience” of humans and AI. This symposium will focus on the new possibilities brought by AI and its ethical challenges, exploring a future in which humans and AI collaborate to contribute to the development of society as a whole. Through diverse perspectives from experts, we will discuss the challenges and outlooks for building a harmonious relationship between AI and humans, co-creating a path toward a future society in which we progress together.
